About Us
Don (Donald) H Brown Jr - Managing Member/Principal Agent State License #579201 Don has over 30 years of experience in the IT, financial services, and insurance industry. A Paulding County native, Don cares about Paulding County and its people. He is active and involved in our local community. Don is the Chairman of the Paulding County Parks and Recreation Committee, a member of Dallas First United Methodist Church, and a member of the Paulding County Gideons. He was formerly: a Hiram City Councilman; Chairman of Deacons, Treasurer, and Sunday School Teacher at Poplar Springs Baptist Church; a member of the United Way of Paulding County Advisory Board, and with two children served as officer and member of many booster clubs and support groups. Don is a family man, married for over 30 years to his wife, Lisa. They have one daughter, Brittany Brown, a 2002 graduate of Paulding County High School, and a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia. She is currently working and living in Atlanta, GA. They have a son, Trey Brown, a 2001 graduate of Paulding County High School, and daughter-in-law Lauren Andrews Brown of Austin, Texas, who are deceased. Don chose the name "Hiram Insurance Agency" in honor of his father, Howard Brown, who owned and operated his own agency by the same name, in the 1960's and 1970's. With this history of service in the community, he hopes to carry on the tradition of excellent service, quality products, and trust in our relationships with clients.
